  1. I know this is an old video, but I've been struggling with thin and fat shots. I searched, and this came up and realized I was lifting my trail foot way too soon. Thanks a bunch! This worked!

  2. I’d be cool with your first shot at least it was in the air. I have a real problem with hitting an iron and it just rolls along the ground a few hundred feet if that.

  3. Just found this video, Awesome and so easy to understand, I've search endlessly for a fix to my thin shots and all I found were over complicated explanations and drills that did not work. I should have known better and searched Mr short game first.
    Thanks so much Matt !!

  4. Thinning and topping the ball is my biggest issue. For a beginner I have decent confidence smashing my driver off the tee but that average 4-6 iron shot off the fairway kills me almost every time. Thanks for the help, all of your videos are great Matt. Cheers!

  5. Topping is my major issue with my irons. I've only been playing 4 months so I need all the help I can get. Your drills are always very practical. Can't wait to try this one.

  6. I was hitting my 5 iron better at the "3 balls forward" position than I have ever hit them in my normal stance. The attention to make solid contact with this drill is phenomenal. Thank you MSG!

  7. Sorry MSG but I could not stop laughing when you were demonstrating the wrong way of having the club face too open and you shanked your "brand new Pro V1" into the brush and lost it.
As always, think you for the tip. I have been practicing indoors all winter and I found my first few rounds I have been hitting thin several times and not getting down on the ball as I did on my turf. I think my over rotation is the cause and I will find out today on my next round on a course.
You are the best golf teacher on YouTube my friend.
