Stupid question: How is "bump and run" related to chipping?
1. Are they same?
2. Is one, the subcategory of the other? – like is "bump and run" is one kind of chipping among many kinds?
3. Is "bump and run" totally different from chipping?
I have experiment with the double overlap grip. Other than Furyk the only other top player to my knowledge to use it was Lee Elder. I'm a bit surprised you don't hear about more top pros putting it into play. It can be very effective but I think it will cut your distance a bit, which turns off anyone seeking length.
